The Three Pigs

By: David Wiesner

2001

Read aloud book

Fractured Fairytales

This book takes a different approach to the story of the three little pigs and involves some other familiar fairy tales to do so. A fun way to show that stories can change.

This book can be used when teaching about fairytale variations. Lots of cultures have similar fairy tales, they are just adjusted to fit their specific culture. Great for folk tales also.

One Response to “Book Reports”

  1. re3030 Says:

    Lindsey,

You need to give a lot more detail in your book reports. Summarize the story for your audience, some of whom may not be familiar with the story. Also, your suggestions seem to be the same for each book and lack any thoughtful application.

Please redo your book reports. You have so far 4 book reports and need 2 more.
